This support article is for students working in a Degree or Certificate Program through an institute of higher education as well as those working on units with an S4 submission type.
Each unit will include at least one artifact you will need to earn in order to earn the unit. Artifacts are broken into parts and will include a variety of ways for you to add evidence to them.
Artifact Overview
Every artifact will include an overview, which includes a brief description of the artifact and its intent.
Each artifact part will also include a snapshot of what you will be uploading as evidence. This snapshot includes:
- A brief description of what you are being asked to create as evidence. This includes icons letting you know if you will be uploading a file, annotating your evidence, or completing a form.
- The Demonstrated Outcome you are working towards.
Uploading a File as Evidence
When asked to upload a file, the directions for what your file should include will be listed at the top of the page. It will also list the accepted file types for uploading. Requirements for completion and competency will be listed to the right of the file upload. For more information on the uploading process for files, please visit this support article.
Here is an example of how that may look for the artifact you are completing:
The requirements for each artifact will vary. You may be asked to:
- Answer a question by checking a box.
- Place a marker to annotate your uploaded file. For more information on how to annotate, please view this support article.
- Answer a prompt or complete a reflection.
Completing a Form
When asked to complete a form, you will type your response directly to the BloomBoard platform. The directions will be listed above the form. Each line of the form will include a prompt to reply to. Please be sure to click the blue Save button after responding to each line of the form.
Here is one example of how a form may look when working on an artifact:
Review your Artifact
The Review Artifact tab will allow you to see which portions of your artifact have been completed and which still need to be worked on. Each artifact part will list all requirements so you know exactly which requirement has not yet been completed.
Here is one example of how your Review Artifact tab may look:
Helpful Hint: If an icon is blue, it is completed. If it is gray, it is incomplete.
For artifacts that have been submitted at least one time for review, you will also be able to view an overview of your feedback from this tab as well as recommended Learn activities to assist you with meeting the artifact requirements. For more information on how to view your assessment feedback, please view this support article.
Submit your Artifact
Once you have reviewed your artifact and confirmed that all requirements have been completed, you will be able to submit your artifact for assessment. You will see this message.
If you have not yet completed all of the requirements, you will see this message.
