All micro-credentials earned on BloomBoard are “Open Badges”. This means your skills and achievements can be verified through the information that is coded into the badge image file. Because the system for coding the information is based on an open standard, earners can combine multiple badges from different issuers (i.e. not just BloomBoard) to tell a complete story of their achievements — both online and offline. Badges earned can be displayed anywhere on the web or shared for employment, education, or lifelong learning.
Access and Verify Your Micro-credential:
- Click on your avatar/profile picture to access your BloomBoard profile.
Download the earned micro-credential (.png file) by clicking the blue cloud. - Visit an open badge validator. BloomBoard recommends https://badgecheck.io.
- Upload and the micro-credential (.png file) and enter the earner’s email address to verify.
