Assessors use the same rubric available to you in the micro-credential to assess the evidence you have provided. They assess this evidence against the rubric to determine if it sufficiently demonstrates the competency. A user must achieve Demonstrated in all criteria in each requirement of a micro-credential in order to earn it. If one or more criteria are not met as demonstrated, the micro-credential is not earned
When the evidence submitted does not achieve Demonstrated for the criteria of the Implement requirement, and BloomBoard understands that it is not authentic to “redo” the same lesson implementation. If you are resubmitting your micro-credential submission because you did not earn Demonstrated on one or more criteria of the Implementation requirement, you do not need to re-teach the same lesson.
Rather than creating an inauthentic learning experience for you and or your participating students, you can absolutely conduct a different lesson / session focused on the micro-credential’s target competency and the goal(s) identified in the Analyze and Design / Develop requirements.
If this occurs please be sure to provide context to the assessor. Context include specifics like standards or outcomes, when a new lesson / session was used as evidence, etc. Please refer to the previous requirements to help determine what context would be helpful for the assessors.
