Professional learning is a collaborative experience and we recognize that participants may choose to work with their peers to develop the skills required to earn a micro-credential. While we encourage and support collaboration, it is important to note every submission must be unique and demonstrate the individual competency of the participant who is submitting it.
Keep in mind that when you submit, you agree to the BloomBoard Terms of Use.
BloomBoard's Duplicate Evidence Policy:
In cases where duplicate evidence is flagged, BloomBoard determines whether the submitted artifacts and/or text are duplicated by utilizing duplication-detection software. Any evidence considered duplicated from another submission may be deemed non-eligible evidence for purposes of earning a micro-credential.
1st Violation
Participants will be notified through assessment feedback in the BloomBoard platform when duplicate evidence is present in their submission and the artifact/requirement will be assessed as Not Met. Additionally, participants will receive a notification through BloomBoard support outlining how their submission contains duplicate evidence and the next steps for resubmission.
Any duplicated evidence must be removed and the participant will need to resubmit their unique portfolio in order to move forward with the assessment process and earn the micro-credential.
2nd Violation
Participants will be notified through assessment feedback in the BloomBoard platform when duplicate evidence is present in their submission and the artifact/requirement will be assessed as Not Met. In addition, participants and their organizational leaders will receive formal communication from BloomBoard Support alerting them of the second occurrence of duplicated evidence.
Any duplicated evidence must be removed and the participant will need to resubmit their unique portfolio in order to move forward with the assessment process and earn the micro-credential.
3rd Violation
Participants will be notified through assessment feedback in the BloomBoard platform when duplicated evidence is present in their submission and the artifact/requirement will be assessed as Not Met. In addition, a member from the BloomBoard team will request a meeting with the participant’s organizational leaders in order to assess the participant’s future participation in the program.
Any duplicated evidence must be removed and the participant will need to resubmit their unique portfolio in order to move forward with the assessment process and earn the micro-credential.
Please note, if a participant reaches a third duplicated evidence violation, their participation and access to BloomBoard may be at risk.
