BloomBoard assessors and approvers are required to assess portfolios of evidence and provide feedback that is constructive, objective, targeted, positive, and user-friendly. They are educators with an average of ~10 years experience in K - 12 coaching, mentoring, and/or evaluating fellow educators. They are certified to assess, engage in continuous professional development and calibration, and they play an important role in the micro-credential ecosystem.
Assessor and Approvers follow a conduct policy that ensures respect for the user and the efforts they are taking to earn the micro-credential. Likewise, BloomBoard users are required to follow a conduct policy.
As per BloomBoard Terms of Use, under User Conduct, participants agree not to use the Service or the Site to upload, post, transmit, share, store or otherwise make available any content that we deem to be harmful, threatening, unlawful, defamatory, infringing, abusive, inflammatory, harassing, vulgar, obscene, fraudulent, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.
If a participant's actions, in a submission, do not follow the Terms of Use, BloomBoard will issue a warning to the participant and if applicable communicate with the organization responsible for the participant’s access. In addition, as per the Terms of Use, BloomBoard may terminate the participant’s account, delete the participant’s profile and any content or information that the participant has posted on the Site and/or prohibit the participant from using or accessing the Service or the Site or any Site Content (or any portion, aspect or feature of the Service or the Site or Site Content).
